To St John via St Thomas Airport
Since St. John doesn't have an airport, our island remains small and quiet. St. John visitors fly into St. Thomas' Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on major airlines including Delta, American, Continental, United, Spirit Air, and US Airways. Many major cities offer direct air access to St. Thomas, such as New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale. Also, with Puerto Rico just a twenty minute flight away, direct flights from this popular Caribbean hub offers even more flight opportunities.
From St. Thomas Airport to St. Thomas Red Hook Ferry
It's an easy taxi ride from the airport (STT) to the Red Hook ferry dock, normally 25 - 40 minutes. There are normally others traveling to Red Hook with their final destination St John as well. Taxi fares normally run $15 per person plus baggage fees.
From Red Hook Ferry Dock to Cruz Bay Ferry Dock
The Red Hook ferry to Cruz Bay St John leaves every hour on the hour from 6:00 a.m. until midnight during high season and takes about 20 minutes. The cost of the ferry is currently $6 per person, plus $2 per large bag (small purses and backpacks that remain with you are free). Purchase tickets inside the Ferry terminal at the St. John Ferry desk.

We recommend your making rental reservations in advance, due the popularity of sightseeing around the island. We also recommend your renting a car on St John, so that if you have any problems, the rental agency is nearby to assist you. No passports are needed for US Citizens to enter the US Virgin Islands. But you will need your passport of you plan to visit the British Virgin Islands, even if for a day trip (which is highly recommended!)

English and US Dollars are used in the US and British Virgin Islands. There is one ATM machine at the bank in Cruz Bay, and one at The Marketplace, just a short distance from the Resort.
